Snowkai Maltese is made up of two sisters, Sam and Amy. We are very passionate about the breed and have had Maltese for 30 years, first as little girls when we fell in love with our first family pet Snowy. If you have met a Maltese you will know they are like no other breed, so expressive, full of character, sweet and loving.
We are based in Motherwell, Scotland and travel all over the UK showing our beloved dogs. We have made up many Champions and have have the honour of wining, many 1st places at Open Shows and Championship shows all over the UK.
We have won Best in Speciality Show (BISS), Reserve BISS, Best In Show, best of breed, best opposite sex, best veteran in show and best puppy in show. We are fortunate to have also won at championship show level many Challenge Certificates (CCs), Reserve CCs, best puppy in breed, Puppy group and Toy group placings over the years. We thank all of the judges who have thought so highly of our dogs and continue to do so. It is always a joy to win and we are very proud of our dogs.
We attend Crufts every year and have had some wonderful times winning First places in our classes, best puppy 2015 and best bitch 2020. We are very proud of our extended show dog family, including our friends who have show dogs from us. They have had some fabulous results also wining best in show, CC,s and Res CCs in the UK, and in Ireland winning several green stars and gaining an Irish Champion Title .
Our Maltese puppies are home raised in a busy family home. They get extra special attention from the moment they are born. They are socialised with Amy's children, extended family, friends and other dogs, making them well balanced by the time the are ready to go their new home or enter the show world.
We try making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible. We try to educate their new owners and ensure these precious puppies get the love, care and attention they deserve. We like to receive updates from our puppies in their new homes. We are 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Veterinary approved licenced breeder.
Our aim is to preserve the breed as best we can and we have attended many breed and health seminars over the years in the UK, America and Europe., to continue to expand our knowledge about these wonderful dogs.
We strive to breed healthy, happy, sound Maltese puppies according to the KC breed standard. We assess all our dogs structure and movement and choose the best mate to continue to improve the breed.
We have been showing professionally since 2007 and are fortunate to have built Snowkai Maltese with some of Scotland's best foundation lines, and have continued to expand our lines over the years to include some of the world's top show lines, in the UK, America, Russia, Koreaand Europe, that are known for producing many champions and are world renowned - producing healthy elegant, beautiful Maltese.
